Happy Father's Day to MY Dad!! I'm the luckiest girl in the world- I hit the jackpot having him as my Dad. He's always been a hard worker, but he knew just the right time to play a game of catch or challenge me to a sprint to the other side of the yard! He taught me that if you arrive somewhere on time, then you're late. The early bird gets the worm! He also taught me that as a parent sometimes you just have to kick butt and take names! Ha!! As a grandparent, he's a lean, mean, spoiling machine!
Happy Father's Day to my Father-In-Law, Walter Peterson! I've been a part of the Peterson family for about 25 years. In those years, I know him to be the Master Joke Teller, a hard worker, honest, generous and so kind hearted. He and Ellie have raised a responsible, God-fearing man that I call my husband! I'm so thankful!
While these two men above are so very special to me, I can't forget to honor the man that is the best choice to be Daddy to my kids- my husband, John. He truly is my best friend. I don't always treat him that way- needless to say he is a very patient, kind and forgiving man. Many people don't know it, but he has a great sense of humor- throwing out those one liners that can make me smile right away. I love that he is a hands on Dad that has been to many, many ball games, school conferences and nightly dinners. He leads our family well and I love the way he loves us.
