30 hour famine

 Anna and Luke participated in the 30 hour famine at our church.  They woke up Friday morning had a big breakfast, went to school and fasted all day, stayed overnight Friday night at church and then were bussed to the inner city of Milwaukee to serve at the Milwaukee Rescue Mission on Saturday morning.  Still not eating, they ended their fast back at the church on Saturday for a big celebration lunch. The 30 hour famine is a fundraiser to feed starving children in third world countries.  Anna and Luke both did this last year and it was deeply meaningful for them to live as many kids do- with out food.
