As of December 29th, John and I have been married for 20 years!!! To celebrate, we drove about an hour and stayed at a bed and breakfast in Plymouth, Wisconsin. We had a lovely dinner at a restaurant called Sweet Basil where we thoroughly enjoyed stuffed portabello mushrooms as an appetizer and I had a honey mustard glazed salmon atop a 3 pepper orzo and John enjoyed pan seared scallops atop fettuccine alfredo. It was AMAZING!!
Here are a few pictures from our "suite". The bed and breakfast was a 150 year old farmhouse and we stayed in a huge room that used to be the old woodshed/kitchen.
and here I am at breakfast....they served a baked pancake with cherries, sausage, danish and cinnamon apples.....it was so nice to wake up and smell breakfast cooking...and I wasn't cooking it!
