Almost finished with the house!

 John and I chose the floor stain yesterday....we went with the darker stain.  We thought it brought out the color variations in the wood more than just the polyurethane.  We love it!




Final grading happened yesterday, so we had skid steers and bulldozers running through the yard all day!  It's finished now!!

We finally have a move in date.....anytime after October 14th!!!  The builder had predicted to be done late October or early November, BUT, they are 2 weeks or so ahead of schedule!!!  That's unheard of! Happy, happy, happy!

Lunch & Packer Game Viewing!

 Yesterday, we had our first open house at our current home, and we had to get out of the house, so we headed to Grandma & Grandpa's House!!  We picked up some subs, added chips and some other things and watched the Packers beat the Bears!  Would you take a look at Grandma's sandwich!  It had ALL of the fixins! WOWZA!

Badger Game

 Anna was invited by a friend to go to the WI badger football game yesterday.  She even wore (borrowed) Badger spirit wear.  (We only have Iowa Hawkeye wear at our house!)

 After drinking a Mc D's smoothie on the way over to Madison, this was a welcome sight!  A potty!

 She had a great time!  She loved watching the cheerleaders, the fans in the student section and participating in the "wave" and also "jump around."  A fun day she won't soon forget!
I'm not sure she even watched the football game!  Ha!
