Our new church addition is OPEN!!!

 New sanctuary has such a different feel.  Very beautiful space!  The sanctuary seats 850 people and it was standing room only at the 9:00 am service.

Pool Party!

 The girls did the baby food challenge!  They played music and passed around the jars of baby food and when the music stopped, they had to take a bite of the baby food.  Some of them were really GROSS- turkey & gravy and ham & gravy were the worst.  They also did the "tin can challenge" where I took the labels off of various tin cans and every one had to take one, open it and guess what it was...and then take a nibble.  They had so much fun doing this!

 No one even touched their phones for 3 hours.  It was a miracle!

Feeding the Masses...

 Wednesday night some of the 7th grade parents from our school helped to organize a potluck dinner for the 8th grade class- after their graduation. I think we fed around 300 people.  It was an exciting night for the graduates!

Last Day of School as a 7th grader!

Almost.....a hole in one.

John golfed yesterday in a work outing.  This was the hole that was worth $10,000 if you made a hole in one. He was this close.......but nope. Oh darn!
