A Wedding

 On Saturday night, one of our friend's daughter's got married...and she was beautiful!!

The reception was held at the Wisconsin Club.  Here's what the ballroom looked like...

Here are the guys...(minus Andrew...he was attending another wedding)

  Filet Mignon, char-grilled, topped with sauteed bourbon garlic mushrooms accompanied by garlic mashed potatoes, zucchini basket, champagne asparagus and red holland peppers.

Chicken Picatta  chicken breast scaloppini with a light egg and parmesan crust, served with garlic mashed potatoes, sauteed green bean medley and a lemon caper demi-glace.

 Ben decided he should have ordered the "kids meal!"  More food!!!

The Eagles

The big news of the weekend was .....after being absent for 20 years, I fought the crowds and went downtown to Summerfest!!  We took the whole family to see The Eagles...it was AWESOME!!!  and yes, we got home early this morning at 12:30am.  Maybe I'll have a nap today!!

 Who made the 3 point play to send the game into overtime?  Yep, Mr. Luke!  He's finally feeling more comfortable with the pace of the game and playing with his teammates.  It's been a super fun league!

Family Dinner

 We had a lovely Sunday dinner yesterday with the whole gang, Gma and Gpa Mackey and Ben's friend, Emma.  It was a houseful and it was FUN!  John grilled chicken, potatoes and onions and mushrooms.  Gma made homemade bread and we finished the meal with these yummies...delicious!!
