Is this yet another furry creature in our laundry room??? What is it?? No worries, it's what's left when you give 3 boys haircuts........hehehe

Grandma Camp.....

This weekend flew by so quickly!! Anna was invited to a friend, Allie's, Grandma's house for "Grandma Camp." Allie and her cousins go to Grandma Camp every summer for a few days. Of course Anna jumped at the chance to spend lots of time with her good friend and the girl cousins! Oh the fun they had swimming and painting toenails/fingernails and crafting and giggling!! Anna even said they stayed up until 1 am during the sleepover!! Here are a few funny pictures from their time together!!

Do they measure up??

I've been meaning to share this for awhile now.....this is a picture that was taken in my in-laws laundry room in their basement. It is a very precious record of all of the tally marks of how tall the kids were through the years.... it all started with John as a child and now she has included all of the kids!! How cool is that?? Last time we were in Iowa, Luke (12) measured where John was at age 14!!! Keep growing, Luker!! and Anna (9) measured where Andrew was at age 7..... she's tiny!!!

B.L.T. Pasta Salad

This is currently our favorite Summer meal.....B.L.T. Pasta Salad......the kids even like it and ask for it weekly!!

BLT Pasta Salad
1 (12 oz.) box of bow tie pasta, cooked and drained
12 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled (I use the pre-made bacon and just slice it up)
3/4 cup of mayo
3 tomatoes, diced
3 cups of shredded lettuce
Add salt to taste

Prepare pasta, cool to room temperature. Combine all ingredients, chill and serve. Best eaten on the same day.

Lunch out with the kiddoes is always an adventure......Ben was working an didn't get to join us :(

Weekend...

This weekend was a hot one, but we decided to take a trip to our county fair.....just the girls (Anna, her friend and I.) When we got there, we discovered that the rides were $1 per ride.....what a great price to ride!
So they rode...and I watched!!! =)
