Up North Part 2

 While visiting our cottage, the weather was beautiful!!  Mr. P even caught a few rays while reading his book...He may or may not have taken a little snooze....

There was a little Pizza eating!!  Yes, we bought a pizza with all of the good things that the kids prefer not to eat...yes, green peppers and black olives and mushrooms!

 There were a lot of Happy dogs.....

 and some gorgeous walks along the golf course....

Up North Part 1

 John and I left the kiddoes behind and went up north to our cottage to spend the weekend.  When we pulled into the driveway, we saw these beautiful creatures!!  WOW!!!

We couldn't believe it but there were still patches of snow on the ground by our driveway!!

 Here's a picture of a bird that I've never seen at our feeder until today....it's a brown thrasher...

and here's a crazy fad that is going through our school right now....dipping your hair in diluted kool aid to color it!!!  Anna was thrilled how her "grape" hair turned out....don't worry, it's not permanent!

Earth Day

Monday was Earth Day--Anna and our neighbor, Billy, picked up trash along the road to "Love" the earth!!

Brownies!

 On Sunday, my parents came over for dinner.  My Mom made the best brownies!!  Here's what was left after everyone had dessert....

Of course my Dad spoiled Bella and let her lick his ice cream bowl!!  He's a lean, mean, spoiling machine!!

April Weekend

Anna's basketball team got together this weekend for a big, end of the year celebration!  We met at the gym and played a parents vs. daughters game and then had a wonderful potluck dinner afterward.  Our contribution was a gigantic pan of mostaccioli--Anna couldn't even hold the dish, it was so big and heavy!!!

Andrew was home yesterday for most of the day....he even stayed for dinner!!!  He finished his laundry and got it all packed up and ready to go back to college.  He has everything he needs-- clean clothes and a bag of goldfish crackers!!!

The Cleaner

 Ben got inspired.....and thoroughly cleaned his room.....Hallelujah!!   This is as good as it gets folks!!!

Cookin' up a storm

 I made some soup this week because I'm thinking Spring will never be here!!!  It was so yummy!  It was Chicken and Wild Rice Soup--- John added curry to it!!

Luke pitched in and browned some meat for tacos and Anna browned some Italian sausage for breakfast burritos....Child Labor works for me!!!!
