Spaghetti a la Elf

 Last Saturday night we hosted Elf Night at the house.  In the movie, Elf eats pasta with jelly beans, pop tarts and chocolate syrup--so we decided to give it a try. 

 We had many willing participants....they loaded up their bowls....and then I told them they had to eat it with their fingers....NO FORKS allowed!!

The boys thought it was pretty good, except for the black jelly beans....

 Courtney wasn't so sure about it...

 Anna thought it was oooey, and goooey!!

 By the looks of things, I think Ben enjoyed it!!

Christmas Prep

 Last Saturday, we decided to decorate for Christmas.  All of the Fall pumpkins and gourds got thrown in the back woods and out came the Christmas decor.  I had plenty of helpers....

 Even the neighbor, Louis, joined in on the fun...

 Some choose not to decorate, but instead took a snooze....

Some got a little distracted by the bubble wrap....

But, it was mostly done...and we even gathered to watch the movie, Elf. (girlfriends included)

Thanksgiving day

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  We had dinner reservations at Fox and Hounds Restaurant....it was busy, but the food was good.  The company was even better....here we are enjoying our meal...

 Here are some real chow hounds...not sure how many times they went back through the buffet line!

Knock, knock....who's there.....Minnie Moo

 Remember Cheeks the chinchilla??  Well, every day we take Cheeks out of his cage and let him run around in our master bathroom.  It's a safe place for him to hop around and he seems to enjoy the scenery.  Anna brought her friend, Faith into the bathroom to watch Cheeks, and he hopped right up in her lap!

 As we were in the bathroom I kept hearing a noise at the door....I put my camera on the floor and got this shot......a shot of little Minnie Moo's nose, sniffing under the door..... so cute!!!

This guy was home on Sunday and has decided to participate in No Shave November.....but it looks like he's shaved a little....Wow, where does the time go????

This, my friends, is what my laundry room looks like when a mouse has been spotted and everything has been shifted to try to find it!!  Yes, John even tipped the washer and dryer to try to find the little bugger........we got him.....bwa ha ha....
