The HUGE news from the weekend was that Anna had an all day tournament on Saturday and their Richfield Rocket team won 1st place!!!  Yee Haw!!! Anna is the second girl from the right!  When she is the batter, her teammates do a cheer called "Pee Wee Power!"  Anna always says, "I'm not small, I'm funsized,"

I woke up this morning, to the beautiful sight of a rainbow...I know, I know, it's tough to see, but it was there!!!  

Anna and Reagan spent the day at the Washington County Fair....it was HOT...but they didn't even care, because they were together.  They hadn't seen each other all summer!!

Because I forgot to take pictures this weekend, I sifted through a few pictures and found these beauties to share.  These were taken at Christmas 2007.  Grandparents Peterson bought us all Peterson University sweatshirts..how fun was that??   and here's Miss Anna, showing off a Hannah Montana activity book.....oh, those were the days!!!

and someone (our neighbor) needs to take a break from Longboarding.....he fell off of the board going about 35 mph- good thing he was wearing a helmet....after a trip to the E.R., bloodwork and a CAT scan, he was found to be skinned up, but OK....whew!!!!

John and I went up north last weekend for a little get away without kids.  We left on Friday night and got to our cottage at 7:30 pm.  When we walked in to the house, we noticed that the air conditioning wasn't working and it was over 95 degrees in the house.  Needless to say, we drove back home that same night.  We had a very enjoyable weekend at home, and John even got to be the "Grill Sargeant!"

Anna had an opportunity to go "up north" with a friend and spend the weekend at the lake.....as you can see, it was simply gorgeous!!  What a blessing!!  They swam, went boating,  and Anna was happy to do their hair and nails...Her favorite part was that her friend, Molly has 2 sisters and she got to be around lots of girls!!

Lady Rockets Tournament

The big news of the weekend was that Anna's Lady Rockets team had a  "Stars and Strikes Tournament on Sunday, and they made it all the way to the championship game....and then lost!!  Darn!!  They played well for being in the 90 degree heat for 4 games starting at 8:30am and finishing at 8:00 pm!!  Here are a few pics of Anna....she played centerfield and 2nd base in the games....

 

 Here are the Runner-Up, U10  Richfield Rockets.........(Champions in my book!!)
