Pumpkins!!

We had a little pumpkin carving extravaganza last night. Everything was ready to go, and then some kids were distracted by the comic section.....Excuse me.....let's get carving!!
Anna had her turn carving....she was wearing her "hippy chick" costume....

Luke pulled out the goo.....and then got right to work....




Mr. Artist did a little research on the computer and then came up with his plan and started working....
and here are the final projects.......a ghost, and 2 logos from a computer game called Starcraft...

I had fun making these scary ghosts......nutter butter cookies, white chocolate and a few mini chocolate chips!!! BOO!

Weekend

OK, here was our weekend.....John went up north, I stayed home with the kids and dogs.....My parents invited us over for dinner Saturday night, so I pretty much didn't have to cook all weekend!! Isn't that fabulous???!!!
You will also notice that I didn't take any pictures this weekend, so you'll have to put up with looking at our precious fur-babies..... had these photos taken by an awesome photographer in our area.....and yes, the lens she uses is "Outta this world!" about $5,000 out of this world!!!!

Mr. P sure had a good workout this week at basketball.....So proud of him for getting out there and working out!!

and Luke was well protected last night when he went to bed....all of Anna's Webkins were lined up, watching over him. I guess that's what happens when you let your sister in your room!!

Had lunch with this young man yesterday.....he's been home on Fall break.....and he likes broccoli cheese soup!!!

Weekend

The highlight of the weekend was making a quick trip to Chicago-land on Saturday to visit some friends. We hit the road at 6 am and made it to Mark's freshman football game that started at 9 am. It really wasn't much of a game, because it was a blow out...Mark's team dominated!! Here he is running the ball....
and it was Laura's 18th birthday..... and this was the cake that her neighbor (age 92) made for her.....
and this was the GIANT bear that her brother gave her....
and Laura had fun "dolling up" Anna....

Friday Randomness..

Here is the beautiful "Holy Hill"...a church/monastery in our area. It's so pretty this time of the year!! and yes, you can climb to the top and see all of the way to downtown Milwaukee!!
and just because....I thought I would share the cutest pair of slippers that Anna has.....

Flag Football

We attended one of Luke's middle school football games this week. It was an AWAY game....in Saylesville, WI......another small town team. Here are the #1 fans.....

A friend of mine from Chicago came to visit yesterday. Her daughter didn't have school, so she came too and we had an opportunity to take some cool pictures in our area.
