What ever the title, I'm just glad they got it DONE!!!!!!

She finally did it!!

Selfishly, I've been wanting Anna to get her ears pierced since birth.....BUT, I thought that should be her choice some day. Well, someday has come!! She was super brave and got her ears pierced!!! Here's the before picture..... not too nervous, but very talkative =) and giggly....
Here's the after.....no tears at all....just lots of plans for new earrings!!!!

Weekend...

This past weekend we loaded up the car and drove to IOWA!!!! We were visiting Gma and Gpa Peterson...Gma's birthday is this week!!! While in Iowa, I took the time to revisit my old stomping ground....I showed Anna where I grew up playing softball.....
We played quite a few games of UNO....
Luke shot a lot of baskets.....even though the heat index was above 100 degrees...
and we even dressed up to visit a new restaurant in town!! It was yummy!!!

A fun weekend had by ALL....

After taking a few art classes at the high school and getting disappointing grades on his artwork, I thought Ben would be discouraged to draw again.....BUT.......he's back at it!!! Yay!!!

Weekend...

Well, Luke's team played on Saturday, and captured 2nd place in the tournament. It was fun being a part of the championship game!!!

after the game, we headed north with some good friends.....

Unbelievable.....

Luke's team defeated the #1 team in the league last night to move on to the championship game on Saturday.....
He pitched the first 3 innings.....
The team played great, the fans cheered LOUDLY and they took down the Jackson Twins!! Oh YEAH!!!

We are very proud parents!!!

Weekend

The weekend was very hot and humid!!! Bella was pouting because it was too hot to go out and play ball.......
Andrew enjoyed downloading a book on my Kindle and reading and then napping....
and someone was very sneaky at my house. I left the house for a few hours and came back to my homemade banana cake looking like this......
I think someone climbed up on the back of the couch, jumped onto the counter top, and walked across the counter, over the cooktop and munched on the top of my cake that was cooling! Hmmmmmmm.......I think the culprit is black and tan and about 6 pounds.....

Technology Camp

Luke attended a Technology camp at Slinger High School and made this "name plate". The students programmed computers and machines that used lasers to carve their names and even to burn the pattern on the wood. They then wired the inside of the name plate so that when they flipped the switch, the LED lights came on!!! How awesome is that??!!

Balderdash

Gma and Gpa Mackey came over for dinner last weekend and we played a game called Balderdash...we hadn't played it for years....20 years to be exact!! The whole family played it and loved it! It produced a serious moment or two.....
but also lots of LAUGHS!!
and by the looks of things, Gma Sue was the big winner!!!! Hooray!!!
