Weekend...

Our weekend was full of baseball clinics, birthday parties and sleepovers....
One guy even got to fly to Miami, Florida for an accounting conference...still don't know why he needed to take the golf clubs......hmmmmm.....

Mr. Crafty

I woke up yesterday at 6 am and wandered into the laundry room and found my husband making a mess crafting...... well, he was making t-shirts for his teammates for their upcoming boccie ball game. Yes, he had been up since 4 am........

He so neatly hung the finished t-shirts to cool off on my peg rack.....
and he iron on the transfer to the front of the shirt.....WOW- I didn't know he was so messy crafty....

Teeth

Poor Ben has my teeth......and he will have 4 fillings very soon..........just a cleaning for now...... but he came home with a new toothbrush, toothpaste and floss =)

Ben's latest piece......he even used a glue gun to complete the project!!!!!!! What you can't see is that this is a 3-D project. Some of the pieces, like the head and feet, stick out farther than others......it's awesome.....at least I think so.....let's see how the art teacher likes it!!

Its good to live in the country.....

I did a little shopping on Friday......got myself a chainsaw....yes, they let women by these things!!!
Just kidding.....John and I went to his favorite store...the hardware store and made this purchase.... John then headed north to our cottage and began using his new toy!!!!
He cut up a few trees.......(can you feel the testosterone surging???)
and burned some piles of brush......oh yes, he's into pyromania too......
Yes, as you can see we still have quite a bit of snow "up north"......


and would you just look at this critter that was at the birdfeeder here at home....
oh, and here's a little closer look.....it's not for the squeamish......just look at that tail....ewwwww.

Baby Shower

When Anna and I went to the baby shower on Saturday, we just had the best time!! Anna even made a new friend.....

WE played a few games and Anna won a very cute, handmade purse.....she was thrilled, of course!
We even got a glimpse of the "shy" kitty......Sassy wanted to be center of attention!
and look at the wonderful dessert bar........YUM!! Double Yum!!!

Weekend...

Andrew came home this weekend and enjoyed being with "the brothers." It amazes me how much they enjoy being together.....I thought this was one of those precious moments that I had to capture.......
Anna and I went to a baby shower for a friend's daughter.......it was a delightful afternoon!! Here is my friend, Lisa, with her daughter, Samantha......

Bella has been at it again--- running around the house, sneaking up to the bird feeder and tree-ing a squirrel. I guess she's just doing what her instincts are telling her......love my yellow Lab!!
