More Iowa pics!

 While we were in Iowa last weekend, the boys helped Grandpa get rid of the leaves on the roof and ground!  I think Luke liked using the machinery! Even at 91, Grandpa was out there raking and being productive!! What a blessing!

Yesterday we signed the papers to start building our new house on February 1st, 2015!

October birthdays!

We had a long weekend, so we made the drive south to Iowa to visit John's parents.  We celebrated October birthdays!  Here are the stars of the month!  Anna is 13, Walter is 91, and Luke will be turning 16 this week!

He takes his driving test in just a few weeks!  He's cruising around town, and on the highway supervised by the incredible driving coach....MOM!

Friends for 22 years!

We started out as a playgroup at the YMCA when our kids were infants!  22 years later, many of the kiddoes have graduated from college and we're still getting together!

As a part of Anna's birthday present, I promised her a make up lesson at our Macy's store.  She chose the Bobbi Brown make up counter.  After her lesson we walked the mall, picked up a Starbucks drink and headed home.  Her brothers were NOT happy about the make up!

Golf!

John took Friday off from work and headed north to play golf.  It was a gorgeous day on a gorgeous course!  And check out the sheep on the course!
