On Monday, Anna and few of her friends got on a bus and headed to camp for the week!!  I'll miss her, but she'll be back on Friday!!

John's 30th Class Reunion

  As well as celebrating Gma Ellie's birthday last weekend, we also attended John's 30th High School Reunion at The Drake. Here is a picture of us in the mirror at the hotel just before we left.  I'm horrible at taking "selfies!" Sorry!!

Another Road Trip

 This past weekend we hopped in the car and headed SOUTH, y'all!!  We traveled to the land of Sterzings potato chips and homegrown tomatoes!!  IOWA!

 We had our first BLT of the year with REAL tomatoes!

 We bowled!!  Yes, even Gramma Ellie bowled!!!!

 and we played LOTS of card games!!  The weather was AMAZING!!

A Get Away

 John and I had a little get away on Sunday and into Monday.  We left the kids and dogs behind and escaped to a place where the view was beautiful....

 the food was most excellent...

 We even swam a little bit...

Summer Ball

 Luke played in his JV summer league last night.  He had a GREAT first game, scoring over 20 points for the team, but the BEST part of the game was running into a friend from his elementary/middle school.  We couldn't believe how he has grown!!
