Our friends, the Mundingers..they just adopted 2 little ones from the Congo. Daniel and Lydia are now Mundingers! From what I've heard, life is rough right now, trying to help the kids adjust to their new environment. Some things that surprised me were the kids were used to sleeping on the ground, so they haven't used the crib yet for Lydia-- Mattresses on the floor work just as well. Also, the family has to be careful taking them out in the public because they haven't been immunized. Having a dog in the house was scary as well for the kids...their pup had to go elsewhere for a week or so.
Hats off to Kim, Jay, Jase, Sally, Charlie and Jack-- they are pouring their love and time into these kids!!
