This little girl gave us quite a scare yesterday. I gave her a doggie chew treat and she gulped it down instead of chewing it thoroughly....needless to say, she spent the day at the Emergency Animal Hospital. They did an endoscopy and pulled out a huge chunk of the treat that had gotten lodged in her esophagus....whew!! $1200 and 12 hours later, she was home, resting....and she won't be eating any of those chew treats anymore!!!
