Party, Picnic and Parade

Our wonderfully busy weekend started on Friday night when we traveled to the next subdivision to celebrate our friend, Tonie's birthday. We sat out on their deck, surrounded by fun friends, a delicious sampling of Mexican food....grilled quesadillas and topped off with key lime pie! (not to mention Kenny Chesney serenading us) For a night that it was predicted to storm...it was awesome!!! Thanks, Tonie, Howie, Howie and Jonnie!!

Saturday found us at a picnic at a friend's house on Bark Lake. It was nice to sit out under a shade tree and look at the lake....while talking to friends. Anna and Luke even took time out from the "trampoline" to do a little of this......yes, Andrew and Ben were there too.

Here's a shot of the lake....it was so beautiful...
Sunday we headed for church and then John and the boys went to the Circus Parade in downtown Milwaukee. They saw beautiful wagons and animals...
and yes, they saw Ernest Borgnine, who always rides in the parade....he's 92 years old now!!
